You can also make this recipe without garlic and onion. By eating garlic and onion we become Tamasi! They cause us a lot of harm! That is why we should not eat them! It's expert experience.

Ingredients

2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

2 green onions, thinly slicedSesame seeds for garnish

Method

Prepare Cucumber :Start with cross incisions that will form an initial slice that will be the foundation/base for the tsukemono. If you want to have those thin slices, then the easiest tool would be to use a mandoline slicer, while for normal slicing of tomatoes you can use a knife. Place the slices in large bowl and add all the ingredients from nut butter, sugar, and cinnamon to it.

Make the Dressing: Chop the garlic and put in a bowl a small bowl, make sure to add soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar and red pepper flakes (if using) and stir until everything is mixed.

Combine: To make the dish pour the dressing over the sliced cucumbers.
The given instruction describes the step in the preparation of a dish known as cucumber salad. Sprinkle the green onions which have been sliced on the dish.

Toss: Do not put the cucumbers in the dressing but rather toss them gently, which will ensure that they are well coated with the dressing. Chill: After preparation, put the bowl in a fridge and wrap it with a plastic paper for approximately ½ an hour with the intention to pick up the flavors.

Serve: It is good to garnish the sesame seeds slightly on top of the tarts before serving to add some crispy texture and additional flavor.

Notes

But if you want even more of a kick, you could add more red pepper flakes or a dash of HOT sauce! Alternatively, if you have a sweet tooth and would like the dressing to be sweeter, then add more sugar.

This salad is great to be served cold; perfect to be prepared in advance if you’ll be carrying this to a picnic or a potluck.
