1 cup boiled black gram or Rajma (or any beans)


1 medium -sized onion (finely chopped)


1 tomato (finely chopped)


1/2 capsicum (chopped)


1/2 cup boiled potatoes (grated)


1/2 tsp turmeric powder


1/2 tsp red chili powder


salt to taste


1 tsp oil


Green coriander - for garnish



For Taco Shell:


4-5 small tortilla or roti (wheat or maize)



For side topping (optional but tasty):


1 avocado (mashed - add salt and lemon)


Lemon juice


Green Chutney or Tamato chutney

Method of Creation (Step-by-step method):


Step 1: Prepare vegetables and beans


First heat 1 tsp oil in a pan.


Add finely chopped onion and fry until it becomes light pink.


Now add tomatoes, capsicum and boiled potatoes.


Add turmeric, red chili and salt and mix well.


Then add the boiled beans (rajma or black gram) and cook everything for 2–3 minutes.”


Finally add green coriander and turn off the gas.



Step 2: Prepare Taco Shell


If you have a Tortilla, heat them lightly on the pan.


If not, you can use regular roti or even paratha.”



Step 3:  Assemble the tacos (Taco Assemble Karna)


Keep the stuffing of vegetable-beans prepared first on every roti or tortilla.


Add Avocado paste, lemon juice, and a little green chutney or salsa on top.


If you want, you can also keep some fresh green leaves.



Step 4: Serve
