Material:
1 cup rice
1/2 cup toor dal
2-3 tomatoes,
1 chopped onion
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste
1/2 cup ghee
6-7 curry leaves
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin
Method:
Step 1
To begin with, you must wash the toor dal and rice well and soak them for about 30 minutes.
Step 2
Now you need to chop the vegetables and crush the green chillies. In a plate, take out cell and remove bay leaves, star anise, black pepper and red dry chillies.
Step 3
First heat oil and ghee in the cooker. Then add in mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Then add dry red chilli, curry leaves, cinnamon, cloves, star anise and cinnamon and allow it to cook. Add green chillies and peanuts now and allow it to cook.
Step 4
Then add all vegetables except tomato and mix. Now put in salt, red chili powder and turmeric powder.
Step 5
First, the pulses and rice need to be washed well and soaked for half an hour.
Step 6
stir together and cook 1. Now add the water and simmer until it heats up. Then add soaked dal and rice and fold.
Step 7
Add tomatoes, sambar masala and ghee mix and close the cooker for 3 whistles.
Step 8
Now once the cooker cools down, open the cooker and spread ghee on the top and mix.
Step 9
Add salt and chilli according to taste, garnish with green coriander and serve.
Step 10
Now remove it in a serving plate, pour some ghee on top and serve it with curd or butter milk and papad.
